The   is a handy, pen shaped text
scanner. You can use it to scan
and store printed text anytime and anywhere - i.e. off-line, without the
need to be connected to a computer. The text is scanned line by line, and
the inbuilt optical character recognition (OCR) technology converts
the captured image to ASCII text already within the pen.
Via a serial interface you can transfer
the text to your favorite computer for further
processing: a PC running Windows or Linux, Apple Macintosh, Newton, Psion
(Series 3, 5 or 7), HandheldPC (WindowsCE - sorry: no PalmSize
devices) or Palm (III or V). |
